What are your opening hours?
- We are open between 13:00 and 18:00 from Monday to Saturday.
Do you also ship abroad?
- Yes, certainly! Shipping is possible to countries within and outside the EU.
What are the shipping costs and delivery times?
- Shipping costs depend on the destination country and are calculated during checkout. Within the Netherlands and Belgium, the delivery time is usually 2 to 4 days. For other locations, the delivery time varies from 2 days to 2 weeks. During busy periods, this may take longer than expected. You will automatically receive a track & trace by email as soon as your package is shipped.
- Do you need your order quickly? Then we recommend picking up your order in the store at Spui 23.
Do you also ship to the United States?
- Due to new regulations in the United States, it is temporarily not possible to send parcels and packets to the United States via PostNL. So far, U.S. Customs has not provided clarity on how these shipments would be allowed into the country. As a result, starting from August 23, it will temporarily no longer be possible to send parcels to the U.S.
Can I return my order?
- Yes, that is possible within 14 days of purchase or within 14 days of the date on online orders. If you return the order by post, the costs are at your own expense. Returning in the store is free of charge. Just make sure you can show your online purchase receipt. After processing your return, your money will be back in your account within 2-3 business days. You will always receive a confirmation email of the refund.
Did not receive confirmation?
Send an email to merchandise@uva.nl for questions about your pick-up orders. If you haven't received a confirmation email, it may be in your spam. Occasionally, an email may not arrive. In that case, you can pick up your order by identifying yourself in the store with your ID.
Do you also offer student discounts?
- We have a student discount of 20% in the store at Spui 23, upon presentation of your UvA Student Card. For staff, this is 10%, upon presentation of your UvA Staff Card. This discount does not apply to the webshop.
